What does the Bible say about...?
GOD
God is indivisibly One (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the Creator of all things (Genesis 1). He was manifested in the flesh as the song of God, Jesus Christ, who is the image of the invisible God (1 Timothy 3:16; Colossians 1:15). All the fulness of God’s power is in Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:9). God is active in the lives of believers through his Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8; Romans 8:26; 1 Corinthians 6:19).
Salvation
Jesus said, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). This is the New Birth. On the day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter preached the first gospel message; Jesus Christ was bled and died to pay the penalty for our sins (Acts 2). At the conclusion of his sermon, Peter proclaimed the New Birth: “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38). To be saved, one must turn away from their sins, they must be baptized by full immersion in water in the name of Jesus Christ, and they must receive the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. This is the faith response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Church
The church is the bride of Christ and He will one day return for his bride which “should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:22-27). We are instructed to not forsake the church, rather we should cherish the gathering of ourselves together (Hebrews 10:25). It is the will of God for you to have a local church family.

Who We Are
Longview First Church (LFC) is part of the global, Spirit-filled, New Testament church that traces its origins back to the book of the Acts of the Apostles. At LFC, our primary purpose is to serve God and to see His will done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
LFC is under the leadership of Pastor James Moore and his wife Cheryl Moore. God called Pastor Moore and his family to Longview in 2011. Under their leadership, God has allowed LFC to experience tremendous growth. In 2017, after over 40 years in the church building at 1901 Alpine Rd, the church moved to a new location at 1600 Blueridge Pkwy where God continued to bless LFC.
In 2023, God provided another opportunity for LFC by providing a 50k+ sq. ft. building at our current location 1600 Judson Rd. It is here that our Lord has given us the capacity to better serve the Kingdom of God and the city of Longview.
